Lake Arrowhead is on Highway 18 which you can get to in less than 30 minutes from San Bernardino. There are only two reasonable routes to Lake Arrowhead...the 18 and 330, depending on your staring point. From Ventura, the 101 to the 210 East all the way to the 330 up to Running Springs and the 18 to Big Bear. Hwy 330 will be the most busy however, with the 38 less busy. You'll be fine.
