The Drive System switches between Normal, Sport, and Eco. The fuel is atomised into very fine droplets, mixture formation is precise, and raw emissions are kept at low levels. I have noticed that if you sit in the car in 1st gear with the clutch depressed, handbrake on and the other foot completely off the accelerator, and then just let the clutch out very slightly the engine starts to rev itself. Fin cooling between the cylinders and a cross-flow cooling concept in the cylinder head are unique to the EVO engine, too. I'll be keeping a close eye on my reject going onto the forecourt. A particulate filter is located directly downstream of the engine which filters almost all remaining soot particles from the exhaust gas.

Both power units have had the designation EA 211 TSI evo since the technology updates. The car, if its like my T-Roc has a clear fault and under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 you are entitled to return it, for a full refund if done within a reasonable period.
